Volt is immediately hiring for an Internal Credit Specialist in Long Beach, CA.
As an Internal Credit Specialist you will:
Assist with internal credit eligibility process.
Conduct routine audit to better understand clients' financial track record.
Run, maintain and analyze D&B reports to evaluate a company's financial strengths and size.
Compile database of regular defaulters and report them to relevant bodies, as appropriate.
Maintain accurate records of communications and financial creditworthiness.
Assist with the review of financial statements, outcomes, risks, and credit history to make informed decisions on clients' eligibility.
Assess and resolve credit-related issues and discrepancies.
Provide reports and summaries of internal credit activities to management as needed.
Collaborate with cross functional partners on any discrepancies in internal credibility process.
This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM open to overtime Remote.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Post-high school education in Accounting or Finance preferred
3
years of experience in credit analysis or related accounting field
Ability to read and understand a D&B report
Knowledge of commercial collection laws and GAAP and SOX requirements as they relate to AR, Credit, and Collections
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution, via email and over the phone.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Prior experience in ERP system, NetSuite preferred
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
